Jean-Jacques Rousseau Lecture and Conference

1 – 2 December 2022, ECPR Harbour House & Online

@GroupKantian

Attended? We hope you had thought-provoking presentations and fruitful networking!

Held annually since 2008, the Jean-Jacques Rousseau Lecture and Conference celebrates the Swiss-born philosopher, writer and composer and his legacy in the fields of political philosophy and moral psychology.

This year's event, organised by our Standing Group on Kantian Political Thought in association with Keele University and the Jagiellonian University Krakow, was hosted in ECPR's home, Harbour House in Colchester, and online.

Good to know

The event will be held at ECPR's home, Harbour House, a charming Grade II listed building dating back to the 1700s. Once known as the old Customs House, the building sits on the back of Hythe Quay, close to Colchester's town centre and the University of Essex campus.
